The Singularity of Stress Field Near the Axisymmetric Interface End of Push-In Test Specimen of Composites

Axisymmetrical Interface end exists in push-in test specimen of composites. So the singularity of stress field near the end of axisymmetric interface is studied with the methods of asymptotic expansion and separation of variables. Substituting the solution of 1st order of asymptotic expansion into boundary and continuation conditions, an eigenvalue equation related to singularity index is obtained. By solving the equation, the singularity index can be obtained and depicted in #alpha#-#beta# diagram. In the diagram, there are non-singularity and singularity areas, it is similar to that of the ends of plane interface. Thus it can been seen, we can't determine IFSS properly with push-in test.
