Optical Characteristics of Injection-Molded Split Alignment Sleeve for Single-Mode Optical Connection

摘要

Plastic split alignment sleeves were fabricated with a precise injection-molding technique using thermo-setting epoxy resin. The injection-molded plastic sleeves showed good optical characteristics. These initial results were maintained in both short-term heat-cycle tests and long-term reliability tests.
