Nonlinear electromechanics and active cntrol of a piezoelectric laminated circular spherical shallow shell with nonlinearly geometrical deformation are quantitatively investigated in this paper. It is numerically shown that both configuration and natural frequency of the structures can be controlled by applying voltages across the piezoelectric layers, and the jumping phenomenon may occur for the cases of some parameters of geometry. Finally the effect of large amplitude on the vibrating frequency is discussed by means of the Galerkin method and the KBM perturbation.
