Constructing DPE Building Blocks for Telecommunication Networks and Services Management

The rapid growth of the telecommunication networks and services has increased the demand for more distributed and large scale management applications. This paper presented a enw distributed platform for telecommunication networks and services management based on CORBA and identified three kinds of building blocks constructing the paltform. The three kinds of Building Blocks, which are distributed processing related building blocks, TMN-specific building blocks and object adapters for existing management models were presented an dillustrated. Finally, using Trader and Connection Management building bolcks in Customer VPN service management was discussed as an example.
