High Pressure Vapor-Liquid Equilibria for Carbon Dioxide + n-Butanol and Carbon dioxide + i-Butanol

A new high pressure apparatus was constructed on which vapor-liquid phase equilibria were measured for carbon dioxide + n-butanol system at temperatures 313.2K, 323.2K and 333.2K, and for carbon dioxide +i-butanol system at 298.2K, 313.2K and 328.2K. The pressures range from about 0.6 MPa up to near the system critical pressure. Experimental data were correlated by use of the PRSV2 equation of state.
