Ba(Mg_(1/3) STa_(2/3))O_3 {BMT} pervoskit powders have been prepared at extremely low temperatures (approx 100 deg C) by hydrolysis of Ba Mg, and Ta ethoxides. SThe alkoxides were hydrolyzed with a large amount of water (h_2O: alkoyx group molar ratio chemical bounds 10) uner refluxing to precipitate a crystalline powder with the BMT pseudo-cubic perovskite structure. The BMT powder was calcined at 1000 deg C for 3h to yeidl a sutiable powder for pressing and sintering. The calcined powder has high sinterability to provide a high-dense sintered body with the density of 94.0-98.0
