Engineering Property of Seafloor Sediment in Huanghe Subaqueous Delta Since Late Pleistocene

摘要

According to a great number of bore holes and comparison of surveying data of shallow stratum profiles, the seafloor soil in Huanghe subaqueous delta since Late Pleistocene is divided into five groups in terms of the sedimentary character. The difference in their engineering property and the engineering geologic problems possibly met are given. The suggestion of selecting feasible bearing stratum of pile foundation and pile penetrating depth are proposed on the basis of engineering practice for more than ten years.
