CERTAIN MOLYBDENUM RESOURCES IN INDONESIA MINERALOGICAL AND PROCESSING STUDY

摘要

The main metallic mineral of the ore sample is molybdenite, in which the Mo content is 0.11 per cent, and 96.03 per cent of the Mo occurs as molybdenum suflfide. The comparing test of Mo rough concentrate one-stage regrinding and two-stage regrinding and the comparing test of Na_2S and BK510 which used in Mo cleaning were carried out separately in the research based on the ore property. The results of exploratory test showed that the final Mo concentrate grade produced by a one-stage regrinding flow sheet was difficult to reach 50 per cent. And a two-stage regrinding flowsheet for the Mo rough concentrate plan was recommended finally after exploratory test and optimization test. The final metallurgical performance of the recommended flowsheet is obtained as below: Mo concentrate grade is 51. 07 per cent, while the Mo recovery is high as 89.09 per cent; Re grade is 75 g/t.
