Automated time and motion study for calculating the resources needed to transport an object in which an analysis is carried out of one or more operating reports relating to the transport process

Method for calculating resource usage times necessary for transport of an object, whereby at least an operating report for an already carried out object transport is analyzed. The analysis involves determination of whether the transport process is number, i.e. the number of process steps, dependent or distance dependent. The number of resources used and their time is then determined. The invention also relates to a corresponding device and computer program product for implementing the inventive method.
