摘要

An efficient inspection and maintenance is a key technology to assure and maintain the integrity of the large scale structure like Very Large Floating Structure (VLFS). A rapid detection of relatively large damage caused by an accident or natural disaster in the wide area of a structure is proposed. This is an application of elastic wave tomography method to geometrically complicated structure like VLFS. Position of damaged area is detected and information about size of the damage can be obtained.
