The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the development, at the Mechanical Metrology Laboratory -^sIPT, the capability to calibrate load cells until 2MN in tension using the pyramidal method. This type of assembly in normally applied for compression. The goal is achieve an uncertainty of 0,05%.
