STUDY OF ONCE-THROUGH AMERICIUM MATRICES STRATEGY IN FAST REACTORS

摘要

EDF presents here a study of once-through strategies to burn actinides, especially Am, in EFR (European Fast Reactor 1500 Mwe Project). This study investigates the possibility to compensate the americium production of the fissile core with americium incineration in target assemblies put in the place of two rows of fissile assemblies.
