A new method of on-line fault detection for induction motor of ship electrical drive system

On the basis of stator and rotor fault model of three-phase induction motor, the Extended Kalman Filter is used for on-line estimation of induction motor stator and rotor resistance. A new method of on-line fault detection for three-phase induction motor is put forward. An in telligent detecting apparatus is designed.
