Developemtn of an Electromagnetic Cycloid Motor

摘要

iming to develop a compact rotary motor with low speed and high torque, an electromagnetic cycloid motor, which is composed of a Dircet Drive ElectroMagnetic Actuator(DDEMA) to drive a stator, a parallel crank mechanism to precisely support the stator and a pair of an internal gear and an external gear to transmit oupput torque to a rotor, is proposed. The basic characteristics of the motor such as rotational speed, output torque and efficiency was eqperimentally examined. Moreover the limit torque and the maximum efficiency of the motor for its various rotational speed were theoretically analyzed by taking account of the induced electromotive force generated i DDEMA and the force transmission of the gear mechanism. The calculated limit torque and efficiency agreed well with the measured values.
