摘要

The total ribbon voltage of the as-quenched and annealed Fe_(89)Zr_7B_4 alloys has been measured as function of longitudinal and transverse applied dc field and drive current frequency. A sensitive change in the ribbon voltage with the application of a longitudinal field was observed for the annealed sample with the ultrafine grains of about 10nm. This giant magneto-impedance effect is related to the excellent soft characteristics caused by the refinement of grain size.
