CONTRIBUTION OF LOW-MASS STARS, BROWN DWARFS AND WHITE DWARFS TO THE GALACTIC MASS BUDGET

We derive stellar and sub-stellar mass functions in the Galactic disk and halo by combining the constraints arising from star counts and microlensing experiments. We infer the contribution of these objects to the dark matter density in the disk and in the halo.
