RECOIL DISCRIMINATION USING SUPERCONDUCTORS

Superconductors can be used both as targets and as phonon sensors in dark matter WIMP searches. Ideas and progress in using superconductors to detect phonon signals, to select nuclear recoils, and possibly to detect their direction are reviewed.
