Based on a revision of the classical Reynolds transport theorem, new mass and energy balances for boiling flow have been recently presented by the author. As a major difference from the classical models, the new equations explicitly include the slip ratio or vapor-liquid velocity ratio. In this work, a new boiling curve for subcooled flow boiling, which is based on a new entropy balance derived from the new theory, is presented. The new boiling curve allows to obtain the steady wall temperature in function of a mean value of the bulk fluid temperature along the channel. The calculation of this average bulk fluid temperature is based on classical Thermodynamics and the assumption that the mechanical irreversibilities are much lower than the thermal ones.
