As the running speed of train increases, the aerodynamic noise of high-speed train becomes more and more obvious. Effectively understanding the aerodynamic noise characteristics of high-speed trains is a prerequisite for reducing train noise, improving train economy and riding comfort. The aerodynamic noise characteristics of high-speed trains are obtained. The noise level of high-speed trains, the location and intensity distribution of the main aerodynamic noise sources and the spectral characteristics of the high-speed trains are studied. The main research methods include numerical simulation, real vehicle test and wind tunnel test. Based on the 5.5m × 4m aeronautical acoustic wind tunnel, the wind tunnel test technique for aerodynamic noise measurement of high-speed trains is studied. The noise source identification of high-speed trains and the measurement technology of the far-field aerodynamic noise characteristics of high-speed trains are mainly described. The specific experimental study of a model EMU under research in our country shows that: the whole state of the train noise is mainly generated by the bogie and the pantograph; the noise caused by the bogie is the full band noise, mainly in the middle low frequency; pantograph noise is mainly concentrated in the high frequency.
