A QUESTIONNAIRE SURVEY AND MEASUREMENT OF NOISE AND VIBRATION FOR NURSERY SCHOOLS LOCATED UNDER THE ELEVATED RAILWAY

Presently, in the Tokyo metropolitan area mainly in Tokyo, there are many problems of waiting children who did not enter nursery schools due to the number of people. For that reason, in the center of the city, nursery schools are being built one after the other in severe environments from the sound and vibration under the elevated railway. As of April 2017, when examining the railway elevated nursery school in the Tokyo metropolitan area, it exceeds 40 facilities. It is considered that these are greatly different from the viewpoint of the sound insulation plan from the nursery school planned independently as a building dedicated to nursery schools. Nursery school is originally a facility for living space where infants spend most of the day, so it should be considered from the aspect of sound and vibration environment sufficiently. In this research, from the viewpoint of environmental conservation of children, we aim at grasping the present condition of elevated nursery school and aim for proposal of evaluation criteria from the viewpoint of noise and vibration of nursery school. In addition, it aims to examine design materials and countermeasures for sound and vibration isolation. In this report, as a basic study, we first conducted a questionnaire survey targeting nursery teachers at an elevated nursery school. The contents of the questionnaire survey consists of 17 items on the outline of the elevated nursery school and the sound and vibration environment. Next, at the elevated nursery school, we measured the noise and vibration at the time of passing through the train.
