摘要

Delicate and vibration sensitive objects like accelerometers and mechanical gyroscopes etc. etc. are precision instruments. Their transportation demand extreme care, as a slight distortion in their assembly may spoil their accuracy during operation. This paper discusses the vibration isolation properties of four different types of cushioning materials with respect to their quantity and placement location within the packing container.
