In this report, a diversity of acoustic streaming field is demonstrated by numerical calculation of a 2-dimensional acoustofluidic field with a traveling wave sound field. The diversity is in the number, size, distribution and shape of eddies in the acoustic streaming field. It can be caused by change of the frequency, size, topology and driving conditions, or by the size and position of a small object in the acoustofluidic field. The diversity of acoustic streaming field, revealed by this work, may greatly widen the application range of acoustic streaming.
