The influence of damping types and receiver parameters on power flow transmissibility is investigated based on a simple vibration isolation system. Power flow transmissibility is compared with other performance indices for vibration isolation systems with different damping types. The results show that damping types have slight influence on the shape of the curves of efficiency ratio and force transmissibility but have notable influence on that of power flow transmissibility and vibration acceleration level difference. Moreover all the differences between power flow transmissibility and vibration acceleration level difference under different damping type approach to constants. Furthermore the influence of receiver parameters on power flow transmissibility and its difference with vibration acceleration level difference are analyzed. The mass, natural frequency and damping of the receiver have remarkable influence on power flow transmissibility and the natural frequency is the most important parameter. It is confirmed that the power flow transmissibility can be estimated by the measurement of vibration acceleration level difference.
