This paper describes an acoustic signal control method to manage the radiation pattern using forced acoustic dipole which is composed of two acoustic sources with exactly opposite phases. The characteristics of each dipole source pair are investigated for the enhancement of its radiation pattern for generating the individualized sound field in applications of mobile equipments. The effect of the forced acoustic dipole to the radiation pattern in the loudspeaker array system is also explained with the computer simulations. With the forced acoustic dipole, the controllability in comparatively low frequency range is enhanced especially for the small size mobile applications in the acoustic field control area.
