摘要

A new method of searching a vibroactivity source in complex mechanical structures has been realized by experiments. The method is based on combination of the numerical finite element model of the structure and coherent measurements of vibrations at several test points. The structure under study should satisfy the reciprocity principle. The results of the experiments with wideband and tone sources are represented in the paper. An experimental setup for localizing the impact sources has been constructed. The equipment of the setup is used for continuous observation of the structure vibration field. In the automatic mode the equipment detects origination and location of a vibroactivity source. The algorithm is effective in near-real time with a pause between an impact excitation and localization of an impact point not exceeding 4 seconds. The method application efficiency depending on a number of test points has been studied. The test bench is a prototype of intelligent diagnostic self-test systems for complex mechanical structures, such as power installations and transportation facilities.
