Minimization Technique of Fuel Cost for Unlimited and Limited Fuel Supply Generators Under The Environment Conservation Principle

摘要

This paper presents a technique for minimizing fuel cost considering both, the protection of the environment and all intrinsic constraints that are typical in power plants. Since the intent of this analysis is to be generic, the restriction of generation with fuel limited supply is also considered. The paper also demonstrates the importance of incorporating in any optimum economic dispatch analysis the minimization of the emission of the three most important pollutant: SO_2 and NO_x as well as the total amount of coal to be burned.
