Two mode-locked ring lasers using an MQW-Semiconductor Optical Amplifier are demonstrated. One is a high repetition type (f_(rep) =10 GHz) and the other is a low repetition type (f_(rep) = 1 GHz). The FWHM of pulse width are 6.8 ps and 9.2 ps, respectively.
