Wide Temperature Range Operation of 1.3 μm Strained MQW λ/4-Shifted DFB- LDs for 2.5Gb/s Transmission Modules without Temperature Control

摘要

1.3μm λ/4-shifted DFB-LDs have been developed for 2.5Gb/s transmission modules without temperature control. Light output power over 15mW and FMSR more than 45dB have been achieved in the temperature range of-40～85°C. 2.5Gb/s-40km NRZ transmission at 85°C has been successfully demonstrated.
