摘要

Ozone generation by corona discharge in tubular reactors are beset with occasional problems leading to failure of equipment. In this article, a discharge operating point for optimum working is defined as the knee of the ozone curve versus applied kilovolts. To operate with proper control of parameters and to check for creepage and sparking, a continuous monitoring with trend analysis is performed using a microcontroller board, which also serves to control the voltage applied and issue alarms when so required.
