摘要

Stereo-echography is a promising visualization technique allowing the restitution of the relief of 3D ultrasonic medical data. In this paper, the feasibility of this technique is investigated. Stereo-echograms are computer-generated images. An original algorithm based on the colinearity equations of the photogrammetry and on the projection of the volume of voxels has been developed. A great advantage of the stereo-echography is the possibility to optimize the stereoscopic parameters for both acquisition and display. Finally, the stereo-echography has been tested on actual 3D ultrasonic data and visual restitution of the relief provides satisfying results.
