On the bases of the qualitative description of the thermodynamic analysis of the effect of the concentrated salt solution upon protin suggested by Arakawa1, incombination with the mechanism of preferential hydration interaction, from viewpoint of themodynamics equilibrium, in the present paper, the retention model of protein on hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) is deduced.
