In this paper the effective realization of an adaptive echo canceller for the duplex transmission of 200 kBit/s in the optic fiber is considered. The transmission system parameters are summarized and the echo model assumed in the simulations is described. The implementation of an echo canceller for such a system based on the application of TMS320C50 digital signal processor is presented. The simulation results are provided and the conclusions are derived.
