IMprovements of the global water quality by the use of multistage ozonation: a french case of a bromide containing water

摘要

Ozonation has been evaluated on a bromide containing water in order to comply with the french recommendation and to remove tastes and odors present in raw water or poduced during chlorination. Pilot tests have shown that complinace can be obtained by replacing prechlorination by preozonation and by performing a polishing treatment w ith ozone and gramular activated carbon.
