Truuly international IOA's first twenty years

In late 1972 the notion to form an International Ozone Association began to take shape. Planning began in earnest during early 1973, culminating in formal creation of the International Ozone Institute (later to become the Association) in December, 1973 inthe USA. In this paper, the author will trace the significant milestones and many hurdles which have been attaind and surmounted, respectively, during I.O.A'S initial 26 years.
