A new cement, which lies in the system: CaO-SiO_2-Al_2O_3-Fe_2O_3-MgO, is studied in this paper. The main compounds in the cement are C_2S, C_2F, C_6AF_2) MF and MgO, with the chemical ranges of SiO_2 6-10%, Al_2O_3 3-6%, Fe_2O_3 34-43%, CaO 29-44% and MgO 4-18%. This kind of cement contains higher Fe_2O_3 and MgO, and lower CaO' and SiO_2 than PC, which creates a new way to utilize dolomite and slages. The clinkering temperature of it is 1150-1250°C, which means a great amount of energy is saved. The cement is also characteristic of its high early strength and setting and hardening in both air and water, but the average strength is lower than PC.
