A Review of Parametric Effort Estimation Models for the Software Project Planning Process

摘要

The aim of this research paper is to present a review of thee of the main software effort estimation methods, focused on Parametric models, that have been developed and then commercialized across the software engineering history. These models, among others, have been considered as the basis of the recent software project effort estimation and today conforms the nucleus of some of the most important companies of software effort estimation. For each model is shown its main features, publications and equations that allow us to see as a whole the operation and implementation of each of these effort estimation methods.
