Electroabsorption in the type II superlattices

摘要

The electroabsorption in ZnSe$-0.35$/Te$-0.65$/ -ZnTe type II superlattice has been studied using the tight binding method. The effective blue shift of the absorption edge has been found to be up to 50 meV at the field strength about 300 kV/cm.
