Subset selection in crop variety trials

摘要

This paper describes how subset selection techniques can be used and can be adapted to the specific requirements of crop selection trials. Discussion on selection criteria, selection techniques, computational considerations, experimental design, missing values, covariates, selection from only some of the genotypes, unconfounding of year/site effects, selection with normal genotypic means and logarithmic analysis is included.
