摘要

This paper is concerned with a code division multiple access (CDMA) cellular packet radio network in which each cell contains a base station through which all user communications occur. Inter-cell connectivity is provided by a "backbone" network of the base stations. The possibility of employing multiple transceivers, to service the users, at each base station is considered. The results presented here concern how the system's throughput is affected by 1) employment of multiple base station transceivers and 2) changes in quality of the CDMA scheme's underlying code.
