Computer Controlled Investigations of the Static Welding of Silver-Tin Oxide Contacts

Computer controlled test system, used to test static welding of contacts, is described. Results of tests carried out on various Ag-SnO, composite materials obtained with the use of the sintering method, with and without the WO_3 and MoO_3 additives, are presented. Results of measurements of the welding force and maximum contact voltage have been discussed.
