Electronic information in the USSR: state of the art and trends of development

摘要

The state of the art and trends of the Soviet electronic information industry are discussed. The most important achievements and some problems in this field are analyzed. Some estimates of the production volumes of databases and online services are presented. Special attention is paid to forecasting the near- and long-term future of the USSR's electronic information industry and market.
