摘要

The introduction of large amounts of intermittent and relatively unpredictable renewable energy such as solar and wind will place harsh requirements on European electricity grids. Energy storage is identified as one important measure to facilitate the integration of an increased share of renewables and hydrogen is one of the most promising solutions for storage of large quantities of energy.
