摘要

The generation of hydrogen gas with aluminum under aqueous alkaline media was studied. Though aluminum powder is very effective material for the generation of hydrogen gas, its reactiveity has also the risk of dust explosion and the difficulty of controlling the generation rate. In this study, aluminum foil which is a safer material was proved that the generation rate of hydrogen gas was maintained constandy and the generation time could be controlled by the selection of various thicknesses of Al foils.
