The phenomenon of QIGONG, a peculiar function of human body is a mysterious subject remaining unrecognized, which is expectal to be studied. A schlieren optical system is used for visualizing the flow field of QIGONG, in order to obtain some physical quantices which could give some insight for the understanding of QIGONG. The experimental methods and apparatus for the system are given. The flow patterns are presented in the paper. The experimental results are also described.
