摘要

Some tests of a pulse-laser-light-sheet technique were performed for velocity - measurement in complex flow fields of air. The velocity-measurement of turbulent air flow in a circular pipe shows that not only the time-mean velocities but also RMS values of turbulence intensity measured by the present technique almost agree with those obtained by a hot-wire anemometer. As an application of the technique to a quite complex flow, velocity distributions of the air flow in an air-conditioned model car room were measured, and the mixing of the jet flows from nozzles and complex features of recirculatihg flows in the room have been clearly demonstrated.
