A Simple Method for Estimating Solid Loading in Vertical Gas-Solid Transport at Low Solid Concentration

摘要

Pneumatic conveying finds major application in solid handl-ling. Solid rates are estimated with expensive instruments. The present paper develops a theoretical equation to predict solid rate in an vertical pneumatic conveying line. The developed equation is verified with data on conveying of granular materials.
