We investigate antennas that could use enough bandwidth to achieve high resolution in FMCW radar. In analyzing the antenna, we first analyzed it with GAP feeding structure by Finite Element Method. This antenna is self-complementary which is designed for wide bandwidth. The design frequency band is 40.0-80.0 GHz, and the analysis center frequency is 60.0 GHz. The reflection characteristics (S11) could be suppressed to approximately -10 dB or less. Furthermore, we success the bore-sight beam gain suppressing to ± 0.83dBi at design frequency band between 40 to 80GHz.
