摘要

This paper aims to educate and prepare pilgrims before they undertake their pilgrimage. In order to accomplish this goal, we have designed and developed three pieces of software - a Virtual Reality (VR) application, an Android application and a webpage. The main component of this paper is the VR application which provides the required interactive and educative experience to pilgrims of Bangladesh. The Android application and the webpage act as companions to our VR application. Eventually, we plan on building a VR Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE) which will provide an even more immersive experience which can be shared by multiple users at the same time. Pilgrims are the ones who will be most benefited by our software. It will also aim to educate non-pilgrims as well so that they can be prepared when they plan to undertake the pilgrimage in the future.
