Security Issues and Architecture of IOT

摘要

Internet of Things or IOT is known abundantly. It is rapidly growing in various fields like business, education, healthcare, smart home, etc. It has enabled billions of devices to get easy access to the internet. Using internet, IOT devices can easily collect, sense and transfer data without any human intercession. IOT devices transmit gazillion bytes of data to cloud in real time, which makes it a boon. Generally, every boon has a bane to it. Boon to IOT is also its biggest bane i.e. real time data transmission provides easy access to the user. However, it also invites intruders, who can easy monitor user and can violate user’s privacy. Here, this research work will emphasize on some IOT based applications and their vulnerabilities. Also, this paper will discuss some challenges and issues faced by IOT devices. Also, some security requirements in IOT applications are considered and finally concluded with some solutions that might help to roll the ball in the right direction.
