摘要

This paper analyzes a basic behavior of the integrated voice/data multiplex structure by 2-dimensional Markov process. The model for analysis is restricted to the movable boundary case, where the idle capacity of voice is dynamically reassigned to data. Numerical analyses point out a quasi-capacity-limit characteristic on the data delay performance. We call it MCL (Multi-Capacity-Limits) property. By investigating it from a number of viewpoints,this paper shows that the MCL property is caused by the dynamic multiplex structure of two completely different traffics; short service process with low priority and quite long service process with high priority.
